Suzy Stride is the Labour parliamentary candidate for Harlow. She was born in Bow East London. She studied at Cambridge University and has since worked for a Charity called City Gateway (recently featured in The Evening Standard’s  Ladder for London Campaign). 

Her background is working with young people from some of the poorest estates  in the country. She has run youth crime prevention projects as well as programs to tackle youth unemployment and is very passionate about having the right policies to ensure all young people whatever their background can fulfil their potential. She has also worked as a policy advisor for Baroness Jan Royall on the Policy review ‘what makes Politics Count for Young People’ conducting research into how we can better engage young people in politics, Suzy is also a keen footballer and supports Spurs like most of the residents in Harlow.
