#KeepTheGoodStuff

Labour Women's Network knows lockdown has been challenging for everyone, especially women. However, for those who have been able to work remotely, some of the new ways of working have reduced barriers to workplace and political participation presented by caring responsibilities, geography, health, disability or finance.

LWN believes we should Keep The Good Stuff as the UK rebuilds and recovers from the Covid-19 pandemic. However, some organisations have been quick to ditch elements of progress entirely.

LWN calls on the Labour Party to:

1) Consider how virtual access to Labour Party meetings and events can be achieved to increase participation in our political processes.

2) Call on councils to maintain a level of virtual access to decision making.

3) Call on employers to take measures to #KeepThe GoodStuff, from increased opportunities to work from home, to continue to hold some meetings and events online.
