Getting Conference Ready: Your essential workshop to making the most out of Labour Party Conference
Join our one-off workshop, "Getting Conference Ready," designed to help you make the absolute most of your time at the upcoming Labour Party Conference. Whether you're a first-time attendee eager to understand the inner workings of Conference, or a seasoned veteran looking to refine your Conference networking strategy, our workshop is tailored for you.
Labour Party Conference isn’t just where key decisions are made, or policy debated but a unique opportunity for you to network, speak on topics of interest, engage directly with Labour's leadership, MPs, policymakers, and party members from across the country.
Our workshop will guide you through what to expect at Conference, and how to make the most out of being there, ensuring you leave Conference with valuable connections and amplified influence.
We’ll take a dive into:
🌹 any pre-conference work you should be doing;
🌹 navigating the Conference landscape;
🌹 leveraging social media;
🌹 networking (and relationships that don’t have to end when Conference does,) and
🌹 creating speaking opportunities…
By the end of this workshop, you'll be equipped with the know-how and practical tools to navigate the Labour Party Conference like a pro, maximising your networking potential and ensuring your voice is heard.

Unlike other LWN training courses, this event does not require an application form. Registration is open to all women members of the Labour Party. While LWN membership is not required to attend, your membership supports our ability to offer these activities. You can join here
There is a £5 charge for this workshop (or our solidarity rate of £10 for those who wish to contribute an additional donation).
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
This session will not be recorded and is not available on play back. Much of the content will be similar to the workshop on the 9th Sept 2025.
