Tired of meetings that go on for hours, go off-topic, or leave people feeling unheard? Mastering the art of chairing meetings is a powerful skill that benefits you in every aspect of life – not just politics.

This workshop is designed for anyone who wants to take control of their meetings and make them more effective, so whether you're stepping into the role for the very first time or you're an experienced chair looking to refine your approach, this online session is for you.

But we want to go further… chairing a meeting with a feminist perspective goes beyond just good general facilitation skills. It actively seeks to dismantle power imbalances, promote inclusive participation, and challenge traditional hierarchical norms that often silence marginalised voices.

We'll equip you with practical tips and proven techniques to help you confidently run the room, keep to time, and ensure everyone gets to contribute meaningfully.

You'll leave feeling more prepared to facilitate productive and engaging meetings.

LWN has a long tradition of providing gold-standard training, which enjoys a very high reputation, plenty of success stories, and a proven track record, so you will be in good hands! Find out more about our training here.

Unlike other LWN Training courses, there is no application form, you just need to register below. This event is open to all women members of the Labour Party, and while membership of LWN isn't necessary to attend, we hope that you consider joining LWN here (if you are not already a member) as we are only able to provide these activities because of LWN members' subs and fundraising.

There is a small charge for this Quick Win of £5 (or £10 with our solidarity rate, which adds an extra donation).
