LWN's Women's Conference Motion
'Women in Politics'
We're really pleased that Labour Women's Network's motion on Women in Politics has successfully made it through the priorities ballot and will be debated at Women's Conference.
Following a compositing meeting, LWN and Labour in Local and Regional Government (LLRG) worked together and agreed a composite motion which encompasses the increasing scale and impact of abuse, intimidation and harassment on women's participation in public life and actions to address the structural barriers for women in politics.
You can read the full text of the motion here.
