'Knowing, Working and Building Your Network' Training with Labour Women’s Network 

For Women’s Conference, here at Labour Women’s Network we have put together a fantastic double-header: an interactive training session on ‘Knowing, Working and Building Your Network’ followed by a networking reception where you can mingle with movers and shakers from across the Party. 

Our ‘Working Your Network’ interactive session will explore how you build and maintain your reach as a woman in politics. We all know how influential the ‘old boys club’ is – that’s why LWN is fierce about creating a network of women who advocate for each other, and themselves.

We will take you through this process, mapping existing relationships and discussing how to build your reach to achieve your goals. As always, this LWN training will include expert sisterly advice and a healthy dose of political reality. 

🌹Saturday 26 September
🌹Doors open 2.30pm, training starts at 3pm, until 4pm
🌹LWN Pod, lower ground floor, ACC (within the Conference Secure Zone for Women’s Conference so a Conference pass is required to attend)

Safeguarding - To attend our event you must agree to behave in a way which supports a safe space and an atmosphere of sisterly respect.  Abusive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated, and we may ask attendees to leave. Third party campaigning is strictly not allowed!

Photos & Recording - A professional photographer and videographer will be present to capture the night. LWN and our other partner organisations, will use these photos or any short video clips taken from the event in future communications, including for other events, on social media, and in printed materials. We will always use these responsibly and with care. 

If you do not want to be in any photo or recording, please inform us immediately. While we will do our very best, we cannot be responsible if you appear in any of our photos or recording, or those taken by other attendees.

A few days after the event, LWN will add a selection of the photos taken from the night to our Facebook page, where you are able to download any you want to keep, and add any video clips.
