Join us on Tuesday 7th July as we come together to celebrate our collective feminist strength in true LWN style.

This year, we’re switching things up with a Summer Reception that brings all the sisterhood and celebration - with more conversations, more connections and more sunshine (fingers crossed!) - while our gala dinner takes a well-earned rest. 

We are delighted that, alongside LWN members and supporters, we will be joined by an amazing line-up of inspiring speakers. 🥁 Drumroll, please! 🥁

Why LWN Matters & Why We Need To Fundraise...

As the only affiliated women’s organisation fighting for gender equality within our Party, our strength comes from you - our incredible members and supporters and your tireless dedication. We don’t just talk the talk; we walk the walk.

For nearly 40 years, we have empowered thousands of diverse Labour women to reshape their local parties, run for public office, and become the leaders of today and tomorrow. Our impact is undeniable:

🎓 Our training is well-respected and 'rooted in political reality'. Who else could say that 45% of the women in the Parliamentary Labour Party are their graduates, including our first female Chancellor!
📢 Our campaigning may be quieter than some other organisation but it's a force of nature! We've secured shorter, more affordable selections; better baby leave arrangements for councillors; improved the Party's sexual harassment complaints processes; our #DownWithManels campaign has ended the scourge of all male panels at political events plus much more. 
📣 Plus our year-round programme of inspirational events includes our “Let’s Talk” series, designed to put women’s voices at the heart of key policy debates and contemporary discussions.

Why We Need To Fundraise

To keep this movement fuelled, we need funds. Whether it’s providing training bursaries, keeping LWN operational or maintaining our voice "in the room" where decisions are made, your support is vital. LWN receives no funding from the central Labour Party.

Sisters, please dig deep. Your generosity directly supports the next generation of feminist changemakers.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to support a sisterly space and an atmosphere of mutual respect. Abusive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. Third-party campaigning is strictly prohibited.

Photos will be taken for LWN's use on our website, social media, and other LWN materials. We will upload lots of photos to our Facebook page, where you are free to download anything with you in it.

We ask that you don't purchase tickets for other people, however if you do, please email us on [email protected] with their name and email address so we can get in touch with them directly. If we do not have their name, they will not be allowed entry on the door,

Only tickets sold via our website are valid. Reselling or transferring tickets is prohibited. If you can no longer attend, please contact us; we will offer the spot to the waiting list and issue a refund (subject to timing).
