Next Level graphicAre you ambitious to lead in local government, eyeing up a senior role behind the scenes in politics, or are planning to stand in mayoral elections or parliamentary elections, this is for you!

Labour Women's Network's new in-person training is designed for women ready to take their political ambitions to the next stage and who are serious about their political future. This training will not just cover Parliaments but the wider spectrum of elected political roles and expand out into careers in political such as special advisers and strategists.

Graduates of Labour Women's Network training have gone on to hold a wide range of positions across the political spectrum.

Some have become Mayors, like Kim McGuinness, Mayor of the North East, Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire or Helen Godwin, Mayor of the West of England.

Others hold senior leadership roles in Local Government, such as Councillor Bella Sankey, Leader of Brighton and Hove City Council, Councillor Nadine Peatfield, Leader of Derby City Council, Councillor Carole Williams, Cabinet Member on Hackney Council, Councillor Mary Ann Brocklesby, Leader of Monmouthshire County Council, Councillor Sharon Thompson, Deputy Leader of Birmingham City Council, to name just a few!

Our network's alumni also includes Police and Crime Commissioners like Joy Allen in Durham, as well as MPs, Cabinet Ministers, and individuals working in Trade Unions, Government, and within the Labour Party.

So you are in good hands!
