Are you a new Labour women Councillor?
Has the last few weeks been a whirlwind?
You feel like you've been swept along since Polling day?
The Council handbook is bigger than a giant’s doorstop? and
You’ve just witnessed (or are about too) your first Group AGM…
It’s natural to have things you don’t quite understand yet or have a burning question that you just need answering.
If so, join us for our drop-in session to help guide you through the first month of being a Labour Councillor.
As well as the LWN team, we are pleased to say that we will be joined by
* Councillor Katherine Dunne, Deputy Leader of the London Borough of Hounslow & Cabinet member for Climate, Environment and Transport,
* County Councillor Erica Lewis (and former Leader of Lancaster City Council) and
* Councillor Sheri-Ann Bhim, London Borough of Merton,
to answer all your questions – and just to be clear, there is no question too silly or too complicated! to answer all your questions – and just to be clear, there is no question too silly or too complicated!
There is no obligation to stay for the whole hour unless it's useful to you. You can ask questions verbally, in the chat function or by anonymous DM to one of the training team during the session if you would prefer your question to remain unattributed.
And if you are not a new Labour women Councillor, but know one, please pass this on!
If you can't attend in the evening, we have another session at 12noon, see here for details.
