LWN's 'Making Your Mark Development' course is designed to help establish what makes you special politically; it will support you in sharpening your personal narrative and boost your resilience to the challenges of political activism and public life.
This development course is suitable for women with over 12 months Labour Party membership. This is because you need a basic working knowledge of the Party in order to benefit from what we offer.
The course will consist of four 90 minute to 2 hours sessions across 4 weeks, plus preparation and homework. In order to benefit from the trajectory of the course, participants must attend every session, so please only apply if you can commit to ALL the dates/times of your chosen course.
Course Dates and Time
Courses will be run on the following date:

Week 1 - Tuesday, 10th January 2023, from 8pm
Week 2 - Tuesday, 17th January 2023, from 8pm
Week 3 - Tuesday, 24th January 2023, from 8pm
Week 4 - Tuesday, 31st January 2023, from 8pm

LWN Membership and Course Fees
All LWN’s training opportunities are heavily subsidised by LWN members and our fundraising efforts, therefore this course is only open to LWN members. If you’re not a current member of LWN, you will need to join prior to submitting your application form, you can JOIN HERE, and you must continue in LWN membership for at least 12 months.
The charge for this course is;
LWN Member Rate: £35, or our
Solidarity Rate: £50 We really appreciate this as it adds an extra donation which goes towards our bursary scheme, training programs and campaign work.
The Jean Black Bursary Fund is open to any LWN member who is on a low wage, on benefits, or is a single parent. If you are successful in gaining a bursary place for this course, the cost will be reduced to £5. If you wish to apply for the bursary, please complete the relevant section in the application form.
All fees must be paid in advance, by the deadline set by LWN, should you be successful.
