LWN Let's Talk Misogyny in the Music Industry graphicJoin us for our 'Let's Talk' Misogyny in the Music Industry on Wednesday 20th November from 8pm till 9.15pm.

The issues of misogyny in the music industry has been well documented over the years. Many organisation have campaigned to improve the culture and practice for women in the industry, have proactively address the underrepresentation of women in senior leadership roles within decision making positions, and efforts have been made by some to address the unequal representation of female artists on the rosters of artists at record labels, in airtime, streaming and as headliners at music festivals.

In January 2024, the Women’s and Equalities Committee published its report on Misogyny in Music, asking the then Conservative Government to act on its recommendations.

Since January a lots has happened, so along with some great panellists, we would like you to join the discussion and 'Let's Talk' Misogyny in the Music Industry.

We are delighted to announce our panellist for the evening;

Lets talk speakers imagesRebecca Ferguson MBE is a critically acclaimed singer-songwriter well known for her rich, distinctive and memorable voice. A highly talented multi genre vocalist - she is recognised for her soul, jazz and pop sound.
