Sian Humphries is Labour Women’s Network’s Training Officer.
Before joining LWN she worked in higher education and the media.
A graduate of LWN training (including being a proud alumna of the Jo Cox Women in Leadership scheme), Sian is also involved in local politics in her hometown of Hull, standing as a council candidate, a member of the local LGC and Chair of her CLP.
She’s also a campaigner on issues such as violence against women and girls. As the parent of a child with autism, Sian cares deeply about SEND provision, as well as more broadly around education and opportunity.
Outside of politics, Sian has a weakness for red lipstick and watching noisy punk bands. And as a gluten free person, she is on a longstanding quest to find a decent GF croissant.
