Based on our gold-standard Aspiring Candidate Parliamentary training it will give you some space in which to think in new ways about your political future.
We’ll give you some new skills, but we’ll also help you to brush up on some you didn’t know you had. And you’ll meet women from around the country who share your passion for local government, and start to form a new network of senior women making a difference for Labour.
Our next Local Women’s Leadership Day is planned for:
- Saturday, 30th July, in central Birmingham (previous event was held in Manchester in May)
The day will start early (although not confirmed it may be 9am) and finish by no later than 6pm. Amongst other things, we will be covering areas such as:
- developing a personal political strategy
- developing and communicating your message
- teambuilding and networking
Places on the course are limited, so apply now to avoid disappointment.
Because LWN is subsidising the cost of the day, we are able to keep the cost to you down to just £25 – this includes lunch, refreshments throughout the day, all materials, and lots of personal attention!
If you are not an LWN member yet please join here or email for the none-subsidised cost.
