Join Labour's future MPs for dinner

We are the future of the Labour Party – and it’s thanks to you.

We’re emailing to ask you to join us for LWN’s annual Margaret Bondfield Dinner on June 4th. You can get tickets here:

LWNNOM.pngSince the General Election, Labour Women’s Network has trained over 160 women on its flagship Aspiring Parliamentary Candidates weekends – and since graduating from the course we have all been selected as Labour candidates.

You might not know this, but LWN receives no central funding from the Labour Party – the training programme is only possible thanks to donations from members like you. Each trainee pays just £135, but each training place costs LWN over £300 in meals, materials and accommodation. Once you factor in trainer time, given voluntarily, each woman LWN trains gets the equivalent of £1000 of investment in our – and Labour’s – future.

So the annual dinner is not just a fun-filled night of catching up with the brilliant women of the Labour movement, it’s a chance to raise the funds we need to keep on changing the face of British politics. With star speaker Lisa Nandy MP, auctioneer extraordinaire Stella Creasy MP and guests from across the country, why not ask friends to join you at a real highlight of the Labour calendar?

And, once you’ve booked, why not tweet (the hashtag is #LWNnom) and use facebook to tell friends that you have?

We’d love to see you there,

Seema Malhotra MP, Suzy Stride PPC for Harlow, Thangam Debbonaire PPC for Bristol West, Clair Hawkins PPC for Dover and Deal, Sophie Gardner PPC for Gloucester, Anna Turley PPC for Redcar, Rebecca Blake PPC for Redditch, Kate Godfrey PPC for Stafford.

PS. Some people have been asking if men are invited. They absolutely are!
