Due to Abena Oppong-Asare MP appointment to the Cabinet Office, she has sadly stood down as Chair of Labour Women's Network after 5 years, with immediate effect, however, she will become of a Patron's of LWN, alongside Barbara Follett, Hilary De Lyon and Jilly Stevens.
Abena said, "Together we have achieved 100 new women MPs, better selections, 6 cohorts of #JoCoxLeadership change-makers, and a shedload of sisterhood. Proud to continue as a Patron!".
