Register now for LWN's Annual General Meeting
Each year, Labour Women’s Network holds our Annual General Meeting (AGM) so members can catch up on last year's work and find out our plans for the year ahead.
True to our #KeepTheGoodStuff campaign, we're committed to making our AGM as inclusive as possible by holding it online in the evening, to hopefully maximise participation from our members.
This year's AGM offers you the chance to:
🌹Catch up on our progress and achievements from the last 12 months,
🌹Understand our organisational and financial health,
🌹Learn the outcomes of the Executive Committee election,
🌹Discover our exciting plans for the coming months,
🌹Hear from our guest speaker, and
🌹Ask questions
Our AGM will take place on: Wednesday, 16th September 2026, starting at 8pm via Zoom
To ensure a secure environment and accurate voting rights, all LWN members must pre-register to attend. The deadline to pre-register is noon on Monday, 7th September 2026.
After You've Registered
In the afternoon of the 7th September, we will verify all those who have RSVP'ed. If there are any issues with your eligibility, we'll contact you directly to provide guidance; if you’re eligible to attend, we will email you a couple of days before the AGM, with the Zoom codes and any documents you will need.
Constitutional Amendments
As per our constitution, any amendments to this Constitution shall only be considered at the Annual General Meeting. The Director and/or Secretary must receive notice of any amendment via email, at least 21 days before the AGM meeting, and shall circulate it to Members with the agenda for the AGM. Please email constitutional amendments to [email protected] using the subject 'CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS'.
Any change requires a two-thirds majority of those present and voting at the meeting.
