I'm Head of Policy & Strategy at the Dartington Social Research Unit, which focuses on what works in improving children's outcomes. I'm therefore an experienced speaker on children and youth policy, family policy and education policy. Previously, I was a Senior Policy Adviser in Ed Miliband's office 2010-2012, and led on business policy and responsible capitalism for the party. I can therefore speak on economic, business and industrial policy and issues. In the past I've been Head of the Capabilities Programme at Demos, leading their work on children, schools and families; and a Research Fellow at IPPR where I specialised in social policy and education policy. I'm also active with my local party, having previously been vice-chair, and am interested in speaking about overall political strategy.

My speaking experience includes conferences (such as the Fabian new year conference), think tank events, Labour party fringes, seminars and roundtables. I've shared several platforms with former and current ministers.
