A former county councillor in Oxford, and an experienced social policy researcher, I have experience speaking on a wide range of subjects.

My specialisms are pensions policy and social care, particularly women and carers' pensions, having completed my DPhil thesis on the effect of caring on pensions savings.

I’m currently a policy and research officer at a charity which supports homeless and vulnerable people and previously worked at Platform 51, a charity which works with vulnerable women and girls.

I am active in the Fabian Women's Network, which aims to ensure that women's lives and needs are central to policy, but which also works to engage women in politics.

I am also commissioning editor for Renewal Journal, a quarterly journal.  I have experience in training and supporting young women in getting involved in Labour politics, and have spoken on this subject at a range of events.

Subjects: Equalities (Women), Labour Party (AWS & Positive Action), Older People, Pensions, Women and Politics, Social Care Policy, Caring Policy, Gendered Social Policy

Regions: East Midlands, London, North East, South East, Yorkshire & Humber
