Georgia Gould is the Labour MP for Queen’s Park and Maida Vale, first elected in July 2024. In September 2025, she was appointed Minister of State for School Standards. Her extensive ministerial role includes Ofsted, SEND and high needs, school funding, curriculum reform, and teacher retention.
Prior to this role, Georgia served as Parliamentary Secretary in the Cabinet Office. Before entering Parliament, Georgia spent over a decade in local government, and from 2017 to 2024 was Leader of Camden Council.

Kiran Mahil is LWN Secretary, first being elected in 2019. Originally from the West Midlands, Kiran works as an Assistant Head Teacher in an East End secondary school. She is passionate about embedding inclusion and resilience in education. She was previously National Women's Officer for the Labour Party, and an advisor to Rt Hon Yvette Cooper MP, where she worked to reveal the disproportionate impact of austerity on women, and is a graduate of the Jo Cox Women in Leadership Scheme.
