Local residents are being asked to share what they like about their life in Plympton and how they would like it to be better. Janet Wise, Labour and Co-operative candidate for Erle in Plympton has joined forces with Dr Jan Bennett, a local community development practitioner. Dr. Bennett said âIâve really enjoyed working with local people in Barn Barton and look forward to meeting Plympton residents who want to celebrate whatâs good and help generate ideas and action plans for the future.â
The meeting will take place on March 3rd in Plympton Library between 5.30 â 7.30pm and light refreshments will be available.
Janet Wise said âI wanted to give local people a chance to come together and share their ideas about whatâs good in Plympton. I love living in Plympton. There is great community spirit and I hope local people will take the opportunity to come together to celebrate this and to see if there are any other ways we could be working together to make things betterâ.
I am very keen to learn from the people of Plympton and to complement this meeting and the other public meetings I am running I have also developed a Plympton Survey. This will be launched on March 1st.
If you would like to attend the Dare to Dream meeting and would like to take advantage of a buddy scheme so you donât have to come along on your own please contact Janet Wise at [email protected]
