Councillor Rosa Bolger, Labour Women's Network Committee

Rosa is an experienced leader who spent her early career in the television industry: writing, producing and directing programmes for some of the UK and USA’s largest TV networks. She then transitioned into the world of digital tech and political leadership, bringing with her strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex topics into engaging, entertaining content for a wide variety of audiences.

Rosa has vast experience in local government as both a former Councillor and the first woman Leader of Witney Town Council. Rosa was a 2019 parliamentary candidate, is elected to the executive bodies of several regional and national political organisations, and is the Chair of Trustees of Witney Baby Bank, a registered charity supporting local families in West Oxfordshire.

At her roots, Rosa is a community activist committed to fighting inequality and promoting a society of Labour and Co-operative values with a focus on promoting and supporting women to achieve their full potential.

Rosa is a proud graduate of the Jo Cox Women in Leadership programme, the mother to two young children, a reluctant runner and a gin enthusiast.

Rosa was elected to the LWN Committee in 2019, and is currently serving her third term.
