Anna is the Labour and Co-operative Prospective Parliamentary candidate for Redcar and a Senior Research Fellow at IPPR.     Previously Anna was Deputy Director at the New Local Government Network think tank and prior to that, she was a Special Adviser to the last Labour government on Social Exclusion, Child Poverty and Disability and Equality issues.     Anna started her career as a fast stream civil servant in the Home Office and has worked in four government departments in over a decade at the heart of public policy making. She is a hard-working local campaigner and activist.
