From Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez blazing a trail across the pond, Greta Thunberg leading a generation to the streets to become climate activists, or three women spearheading the #BLM campaign Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza and Opal Tometi - young women are truly leading the way in 2020 and beyond.

LWN has a long history of encouraging women to speak up, speak out and stand up in the Labour Party and we want to make sure that we are encouraging the next generation to be trailblazers too. This event will be open to all young women who are members of the Labour Party.

We will be joined on a Zoom call on the 7th September 2020 at 7pm by a great line-up to discuss their experiences as young women in the Labour and Trade Union movements.  There will then be an opportunity for audience members to ask their questions to the panel.

Angela Rayner MP, Deputy Leader of the Labour Party and graduate of LWN training scheme,

Nadia Whittome MP, The youngest MP in the House of Commons

Abena Oppong-Asare MP, Chair of LWN and PPS to the Shadow Chancellor,
