My answer is absolutely yes!

Over the last 8 years that I have served on the NEC I have often been called on to make some quite difficult decisions about women only shortlists. However, in my view we must continue with the policy in order to achieve gender equality within the Parliamentary Labour Party and to change the perception of what makes a 'good MP'.
