LWN at Labour Party Conference 2011

LWN has a packed diary of events for Labour women at the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool this year.

ACTIVE WOMEN TRAINING SESSION: Sunday 25 September, 10:15 to 11:15, ACC Hall 2E

Are you an Active Woman? LWN’s hour-long session is all about how to make the most of being a woman in the Labour Party. We’ll help you think through how to get more involved with your local party, how to get together with other women in your area to discuss policy and share campaigning, and how to deal with some of the practical barriers women sometimes face. If you’re a new or newish member of the party, or you’ve only recently got active again, this session is for you. Tea, coffee and good company all provided.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: Monday 26 September, 7:30pm, Premier Inn, Albert Dock (near the Conference Centre)

Guest speaker: Rachel Reeves MP

Refreshments provided and LWN members don’t need a Conference pass to attend. All members are very welcome!

LWN STALL IN THE EXHIBITION HALL

LWN will be running a stall in the Conference Centre throughout the week. You’ll find us at Stand 52, where we’ll have freebies, information about forthcoming training and events, merchandising and more. Come for a chat – and bring your friends to sign up!
